BOURNE MILL, Tiverton

Built in 1881, the Bourne Mills Apartments are the historic reuse of 8 former textile mills, transformed into a 166-unit development in Tiverton, Rhode Island. Featured within the National Registration of Historical Places, The Armory Revival Company is currently developing Phase III of the project, which will include 59-units of newly constructed mixedincome housing with 47 units made affordable to households with 60% AMI. Historic elements of this development such as the clock tower are maintained alongside modern amenities like community and entertainment rooms, a walking trail and dog park. Funding sources for this development include LIHTCs, BHRI, RI Rebounds Production Fund loan, Housing Production Fund loan, and ZEOS grant.
