ARCTIC MILL, West Warwick

Developed by Knight Street Capital, Arctic Mill is the preservation and adaptive reuse of a former 19th century textile mill building into 136 mixed-income rental units in West Warwick. The redevelopment effort will produce a total of 136 rental units, 105 which will be market rate and 31 for households earning up 100% of Area Median Income (AMI) and feature 10,000 square feet of office and retail space, recreational space, and an onsite brew pub. Arctic Mill’s central location makes it ideal for working professionals and provides access to local amenities, retail, employment opportunities and major highways. The funding for Arctic Mill comes from various sources, including Federal Historic Tax Credits, RIHousing’s Workforce Housing Loan, the Rebuild RI Tax Credit program, and developer equity.
