Description: Paragon Mills is an adaptive reuse and environmental clean-up of the historic Earnscliffe & Paragon Worsted Mills located adjacent to the Woonasquatucket River in the Olneyville neighborhood of Providence. The 125,000 square foot rehabilitation project preserved many of the external and internal historic features such as high ceilings, exposed brick, and the restoration and use of original hardwood flooring throughout. The development houses 101 new residential units, 44 of which are restricted for households at or below 60% of AMI. The remainder of units are market rate but restricted to incomes up to 120% AMI for middle income apartments.
