ACCESS INDEPENDENCE II

In collaboration with the State of Rhode Island Behavioral Healthcare, Developmental Disabilities, and Hospitals, Access Independence II program helps aging and special needs populations have a safe and healthy place to call home.

How it works

Loans of up to $50,000 are available for families and caregivers of people with developmental disabilities to modify their homes in order to support their needs and continue living with their families. Funds cover the costs for adaptations, including the installation of ramps, modifications of bathrooms, installation of lifts, or other equipment purchases
