RIHousing’s virtual Homebuyer Education Classes to help prospective homebuyers understand the process of buying and keeping a home, presented “live” by our homebuying experts.

Customers who are first-time homebuyers are required to participate in this class prior to closing on a RIHousing loan.
(for co-borrowers, only one borrower is required to take the Homebuyer Education class)

eHomeAmerica’s online classes feature the same basic principles while you to complete the material at your own pace. The course is offered in both English and Spanish.


Buyers who apply for our Renovation Mortgage/203(k) loan are required to complete this course. Others are welcome to take the course which covers important information if purchasing a home needing repairs.

*Please note that the completion of RIHousing’s Homebuyer Education class may not satisfy the Homebuyer Education requirements for other lenders or agencies providing down payment and/or closing cost assistance.
