First Look
Launched in 2014, First Look is RIHousing’s Real Estate Owned purchase program for non-profit partners. The automated system provides non-profit purchasers with the advantage of taking a “first look” at our available properties before they are marketed to the public.

How it Works
Properties available for purchase will remain open for bid to nonprofit partners who register with RIHousing for a total of 7 days. After the 7-day period, the property will be placed on the open market. Our goal is to provide a transparent, equitable streamlined process to return RIHousing real estate owned properties to productive use and improve our neighborhoods.
