our window display
RIHousing created a window display along Washington Street in Providence to pay tribute to our great state by illustrating the beauty of its cities, towns and ocean-side communities.
The stylized block-long mural depicts Rhode Island from its urban centers to its seaside communities. It reflects on RIHousing’s work to create vibrant communities with good homes in all parts of the State. Since purchasing and restoring the Slade, Garr and Earle buildings in the last two decades, RIHousing is committed to a well-maintained and attractive streetscape while investing in many of the other Downcity buildings including The Dreyfus Hotel, the Mercantile Block, Smith Building and Peerless Building.
We also added a Where’s Waldo? -theme by hiding throughout the display 10 icons that illustrate what makes Rhode Island a unique place to live, work and play.
