DESCRIPTION:Developer: Women’s Development Corporation \nFunding: LIHTC\, BHRI\, HOME\, HTF\, CMF \nDescription: Pine View Apartments are 40 new affordable apartments in Exeter developed by the Women’s Development Corporation. The development stands on 7.6-acres of land nestled on two sides by preserved wooded wetlands on South County Trail. It is adjacent to the Oak Harbor Village commercial center. The units were completed in in December 2022 and leasing began in September 2022.   \nThe 40 affordable apartments are comprised of 5 one-bedroom and 35 two-bedroom residences within a planned residential community. Three (3) units are affordable to up to 30% of AMI\, 5 units are affordable to up to 50% AMI and 32 units are affordable up to 60% AMI. There are 8 project-based vouchers provided by the Housing Authority of Newport. The 40 units helped increase the percentage of affordable housing in the Town of Exeter and as of 2022\, Exeter meets the 10% affordable housing requirement.
