Customers who are first-time homebuyers are required to participate in the class prior to closing on a RIHousing loan. (for co-borrowers, only one borrower is required to take the Homebuyer Education class)

RIHousing is pleased to announce the launch of our “virtual” Homebuyer Education class, which replaces our in-person class.
You’ll hear from our homebuying experts everything you need to know to become a successful homeowner.

Note: prospective homebuyers are still able to take the online ‘Framework’ course offered by Fannie Mae, if that better suits their needs and schedule.Both class options are offered free of charge and participants will receive a Certificate of Completion for either class.
